Pacers Sports & Entertainment Logo Concept
While interning at Section 127, the creative division of Sport Graphics in Indianapolis, I was added to a project to work on the re-branding of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, which oversees the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Fort Wayne Mad Antz, as well as Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the events that it hosts. Throughout the creative process, I developed sketches and ideas with other ideas based on needs/wants specified in the given creative brief. A main need that the client was looking for was the concept of abbreviation. The client preferred a logotype with an abbreviated PS&E. I decided to focus on negative space as well as counter shapes. While working with branding and styles for the Indiana Pacers, this is the final logo design that I created to add to a number of concepts for Pacers Sports & Entertainment.
